As of July 1st, 2022 Race Street Live no longer requires attendees to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, negative test results, or mask-wearing (although masks are still encouraged). 

Entry requirements are subject to change. By purchasing tickets to an event at Race Street Live you agree to abide by the entry requirements in effect at the time of the event. If there are any changes to entry requirements, ticket holders will be notified by email and updates will be posted here.

  • Proof of Vaccination: Not required.
  • Proof of Negative Covid 19 Test: Not required.
  • Face Coverings: While mask-wearing is not required at this time, we still strongly encourage wearing a mask when not actively eating and drinking to protect yourself and others.

Currently the Race Street Live box office is only open during shows.

We cannot guarantee the validity of tickets purchased through third party resale/scalping websites.

Your tickets should be attached as a PDF in your confirmation email from Eventbrite (check your spam folder if it doesn’t appear in your main inbox) and can also be accessed in your Eventbrite account (sign in using the email address you used to purchase tickets). Occasionally artists use a third party fan club ticketing platform for presales, please reach out to point of purchase if you’re unable to locate those tickets.

Tickets can be printed or pulled up on your mobile device.

All of our events are 16+. Those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the entire performance. The parent/legal guardian must purchase their own ticket and remain within a few feet of the underage person. We reserve the right to ask for proof of a parent/legal guardian relationship. Patrons under the age of 21 may not consume alcohol under any circumstances, and any minor caught consuming alcohol, and/or anyone providing alcohol to a minor, will be asked to leave and turned over to law enforcement.

Race Street Live is a safe, secure and fun environment, but as always, we recommend parents weigh the maturity level and personality of their individual child when deciding on the right age for their child to be allowed to attend concerts.

All shows at Race Street Live are general admission. For seated shows, seats are available on a first come, first served basis. For standing room only shows there will be little to no seating available. Those needing handicap accessible seating will be accommodated; we recommend contacting us ahead of time at to ensure proper arrangements.

Accessible seating is typically set up house left, in front of the sound booth. Please speak to a staff member on-site if you require any assistance during the show.

Race Street Live is located on the ground level of Gateway City Arts.

Unless a show is cancelled or postponed, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Tickets for cancelled shows will be automatically refunded. For rescheduled shows we will notify ticket holders of the timeframe in which they can request a refund. Credit Card refunds can only be applied to the card used at the time of purchase. Tickets purchased with cash will be refunded at the location they were purchased.

For select sold out shows we partner with Lyte to give fans an opportunity to return their tickets.

For most shows, yes! Simply send the ticket PDF to whoever you’d like to transfer the ticket to or use the transfer option in your Eventbrite account.

There is no designated parking for Race Street Live. Free street parking is available on Race St. and the surrounding streets. The Ernest Prouxl Municipal Parking Facility is located .3 miles from Race Street Live at 505 Dwight St.

Cameras are not permitted unless approved by the venue/artist. Please reach out to us at for show-specific policies.

During colder weather we have a coat rack towards the back of the venue. We are not responsible for any left items.

Per Massachusetts law, smoking is prohibited. This includes vapor pens and e-cigarettes. Smoking is permitted outside in the Gateway City Arts beer garden during the off-season only.

Judd’s Bar & Restaurant next door at Gateway City Arts is open Wednesday through Saturday from 5pm to 10pm. Food is also available during all concerts starting at 7pm.

While most tours carry their own opening acts, we’re open to booking local artists whenever possible. Please reach out to with booking-related inquiries and include information such as links to music, press links, local history, draw, etc.

Race Street Live is a live music and event space located in downtown Holyoke on the historic Second Level Canal in a building that was once the longtime home of the Judd Paper Company.  With a state of the art sound & lighting system, full bar, delightful patio/beer garden and full kitchen, Race Street Live can host seated dinners for up to 100, theater style seated events for up to 250 and standing room only events up to 499.
